Public and private colleges in Punjab have been announced to reopen from 31 May 2021. except for Rahim Yar Khan and Khanewal districts colleges.Rahim Yaar Khan and Khanewal colleges remaining closed. According to details, Punjab Higher Education Department a letter issued to open government and private colleges in the province from May 31. Under which colleges for classes will be opened from May 31. However, the second colleges in Rahim Yar Khan and Khanewal districts will remain closed, because the corona case rate in Rahim Yar Khan and Khanewal is more than 5%. There will be classes according to government orders and Corona SOPs.

Education Minister Murad Saeed has said, we will give minimum summer vacations in schools. We will start the new academic year after the holidays. A proposal is under consideration to complete the 1st to 8th class examinations in all schools of Punjab from June 7 to June 25. Similarly, the results will be announced on June 30, followed by summer vacations from July 1 to July 31.
classes will begin next June in government and private schools across all province. Annual examinations for 10th to 12th classes should be held in June.
